Kenora

Hello friends and family from the beautiful area of Kenora, ontario!

 

Seriously, this place is like a dream. There are so many lakes, and trees, and rocky terrain, I feel like I am home, besides the tall mountains. Kenora is right by a lake that has 14,000 islands, and it is seriously one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been in. I am happy to be hear, desite the unique challenges.

 

the population that I have to work with is about 7500, which is a lot lower than the 50,00-75,000 I had in Winnipeg. But i know we will find prepared people. Also, Elder Ruth and I ( by the way, Elder Ruth is great) are walking elders, so that will be a unique challenge. The branch has told us they don't want us baptizing anyone, they like the branch the way it is, so that is strange, but it will all work out.
