Hello friends and family!
First off, I just wanted to say thank you all for the birthday support, I felt so much love this weekend, and I am just so grateful for the people that Heavenly Father has put into my life, you are all such a blessing to me.
I had the most incredible weekend ever. We drove to regina on friday, which is really long and really flat, so that was... fun, and then we had our meeting on saturday with elder Christofferson from 930 -1130. I was asked to play the opening and closing hymn, and then about an hour of prelude, I just played some arrangements of hymns that I've done, and arrangements of hymns that I know well, so it was nice, because I haven't had the chance to play that kind of stuff in a while. I played also while everyone shook Elder Christofferson's hand, and then I was the last one to shake his hand once everyone was done and he thanked me for the music, which was really great. Elder Soares of the 70 was the first to speak, and he spoke on pages 3-5 of the white handbook, and how we can receive the spirit power necessary for our missionary work. Then Elder Christofferson spoke. He is so kind, and humble, and funny, it was such an icredible experience. He essentially opened up the meeting to questions from missionaries, so we were able to discuss specific things that we could to do improve, and it just went so well. I am so grateful for men who are called of God to lead and guide us today. Easter was also incredible, We had 12 people at church which is actually a good turnout, and a lady named eva who was invited by megan showed up, which was really great, we will be teaching her and her son this week.
I am just so grateful for the easter season, for a loving savior who was willing to give so much for me so that I could return to my Father in Heaven. I know he has done the same for all of you, and I am just so grateful for the gospel in my life.
We have baptismal dates with Elli and Lett on may 10th, and if you could keep them in your prayers that would be great. Also, Pray for Joanne, Nettie, Eva and Her son, and Peter, a young man we tracted into this week who really needs to know that God is there for him. other than that, pray that we will continue to find prepared people, especially prepared families that we can share the gospel with.
I love you all, thank you so much for the support, I hope you have a wonderful week!
With Love,
Elder Kendall
