Hello friends and family from the chilly land of Canada!
It is actually pretty warm today, but this past week we have had some rain, and it got down to 5 degrees celsius. It is a very refining time in the mission. all, and I mean all, of my investigators were in the hospital this week and weekend, all of them missed conference, and their baptismal dates were postponed as a result. It is really hard to have that happen, Janese and darrell are still able to meet with us, but their baptismal dates have to be reset, because they haven't been coming to church, despite our best efforts to fellowship them and help them get to church, it hasn't worked out. We arrange rides, we have lessons with members, and it is just really tough. However, despite these setbacks, I know that there will be miracles in this area if we perservere, and rely on Christ, and allow him to do his work. This is His work, and I am just here to assist Him to the best of my abilities, I know that we will see success as we continuously rely on Him in faith.
Conference was wonderful. I had a very spiritual experience, as I am sure you all did as well. I am afraid I do not have very many spiritual insights to share, as I have accidentally left my notebook at home... But my favorite talks were Elder Holland, Elder Uchtdorf, Elder Vinson (I think, he was australian), and really every talk was fantastic! I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I did. Well, I love you all, I hope you have a wonderful week!
With Love,
Elder Kendall
